The first Ability Awards in Macedonia, held on December 3, 2024, celebrated individuals and companies committed to building a more inclusive society. DMCreative.pro contributed to this milestone event through creative visual design and technical production, helping deliver a memorable experience for both live and television audiences.
Held at the Hilton Hotel in Skopje on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the event recognized outstanding achievements in accessibility, inclusion, innovation and equal opportunities. Our team worked alongside lighting, stage design and television production professionals to bring the event’s visual identity to life.
First Ability Awards in Macedonia: Celebrating Inclusion
One such event, bringing together people with disabilities and Macedonian companies actively involved in the inclusion process, was held at Hotel Hilton in Skopje on 3 December 2024.
The event, the first of its kind, aimed to encourage companies, communities and individuals to take an active role in building a more inclusive society in which everyone has equal opportunities to succeed and demonstrate their skills.
Recognizing Individuals and Companies Making a Difference
During the event, awards were presented to 10 individuals and 10 companies committed to promoting equality and inclusion.
A total of 40 individuals were nominated for awards across 10 categories: culture and arts, sporting achievement, business-sector employee, employee with IT skills, leadership, public institution employee, outstanding impact on social awareness, business innovator, human rights advocate and inclusive innovator.
Companies were nominated in the following categories: best inclusive workplace, innovation in accessibility, community impact, bias-free media, diversity leadership, inclusive marketing campaign, advocacy and policy, inclusive and assistive technology, entrepreneurial initiative and corporate social responsibility.
